About Spray Foam Insulation
Green Star Energy Solutions proudly uses HEATLOK SOY® manufactured by Demilec USA. HEATLOK SOY® is an environmentally-friendly foam developed from recycled plastic materials and renewable soy oils. It is a high performance, closed-cell, rigid polyurethane foam, used for both commercial and residential perimeter wall insulation.
Closed-cell foam means that all of its tiny foam cells are closed and packed together. They are filled with a gas to help the foam expand and become a better insulator. Typically, closed-cell foam has better strength, higher R-value and greater resistance to air leakage or water vapor than open-cell foam.
Application
HEATLOK SOY® is the perfect choice to insulate high humidity areas where relative humidity levels are greater than 55%. It is also an excellent air sealant. This makes it a great option for:
